Les "roches du diable" - the devil's rocks Where the river has cut a deep bed leaving behind enormous mysteriously shaped rocks. Just upstream of the campsite is the annual venue for an international canoeing competition, mentioned in the "Michelin" guide. Besides the natural beauty, the many fountains and watermills make this site even more enchanting. Worth visiting, either by canoe or on foot !

In a country setting and only a stone's throw away from the sea

The coast, less than 20 minutes away from the campsite, leaves you the choice between relaxing on the large stretches of fine sandy beaches or discovering the multitude of small rocky creeks (or both!).

Quimperlé Quimperlé is situated at the crossroads of the Isole, Ellé and Laïta valleys. A picturesque location with small medieval streets, its Upper and Lower Town, old houses with corbels, a unique Basilica, the "Maison des Archers" (Archers' House) and Saint Croix Abbey.

Pont-Aven

A charming village tucked away in the green estuary of the river Aven where the poetry of the landscape and the exceptional light attract many painters, artists, writers and poets. Worth visiting : "The painters' stroll", the famous biscuit factories of Pont-Aven.

Concarneau France's third trawler port, Concarneau is particularly well known for its famous walled town (14th century), its fishing museum and its "Fête des Filets bleus" (Blue fishing nets festival).

Le Faouët

		A most beautiful village full of history with a rich collection of monuments (14th and 15th century). Several chapels with rood screens and numerous fountains and watermills.

Doëlan A typical breton port which has been able to preserve its authenticity. An inspiration for many a painter. Absolutely worth visiting !

Quimper

		Capital city of "Cornouaille" (Cornwall Finistere) situated at the confluence of two rivers, the Steir and the Odet. Discover the old center, the much appreciated shopping area, Rue Kéréon, and the Cathedral (with foundations dating from the 13th century!). Also worth visiting are the musea and the famous "Faïenceries de Quimper" (typical earthenware from Quimper).

Lorient

Town of sailors and Celtes. The numerous pubs and bars breathe air into this lively town. The annual event not to be missed in the month of August is the Interceltic festival.
